The IAEA Language Programme at the VIC
Our Spring Semester Courses for 2018 are now available for online registration!
Our Spring Semester will run from Mon 19th February until the end of June 2018.
All our regular courses provide preparation and eligibility (after two years of study) for the UNLPE, including Level 7.
Group courses generally take place twice a week: some in the morning, some at lunchtime or in the evening.
Courses are open to:
- staff members of organizations and service providers in the VIC
- staff members of Permanent Missions and embassies holding a valid VIC access pass
- officially recognized adult dependents and retirees – who also require a valid VIC access pass
A valid access pass for the duration of the semester you are registering is required. A commissary-only admittance pass is not sufficient. Only a proper VIC access pass will be accepted.
For questions regarding access passes, please send a scanned copy of the pass to: firstname.lastname@example.org before submitting a course fee payment.

Online placement tests are available here for German, English, Spanish, French and Italian.
Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Russian placement tests can be arranged on appointment in F0979 or by contacting inlingua at email@example.com.
All placement tests are free of charge.
GERMAN LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY Exam – B1 Zertifikat
Due to changes in exam accreditation process on the part of central government we are currently reviewing when the next German UN Language Proficiency Exam can take place. For more information about the exam please click on the link under German courses in the menu above. The exam consists of two main parts. The written exam will take place on the 13th of March 2018. The 20 minute oral part will be arranged on enrollment and normally takes place on a different day.
